Since launching on Kickstarter, we raised 50% of our target the first week, which means thousands of people have already jumped aboard the Chameleon bandwagon. There was also an amazing reaction from the Android community. Forums were filled will conversations and dozens of Android news sites picked up the story. We were even featured in Engadget and Mashable.
One of the most incredible things about all of this is the nature of Kickstarter itself. While backers do have the choice of a $1 good mojo pledge, every other level is actually a sale. Kickstarter is funding through pre-sales and the beauty of it is that the success of the campaign is directly related to the strength of the idea and the quality of the execution.
While the first week has been an incredible affirmation of our belief in Chameleon, we know that the hard part is still to come. We have been doing interviews this week and plan on releasing more details over the next couple of weeks to maintain momentum in the campaign.
